Our Story

E-PENSHIMADA is the online store of Shimada Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Shimada Manufacturing Co., Ltd. operates a deep drawing press at a town factory in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan.
Since opening as a body press for writing instruments, we have continued to deep draw metals for more than 65 years, and have continued to manufacture many items for domestic manufacturers.
We are selling the original writing instruments completed in the activity. We would like to deliver original pens made at our own factory using our experience and technology to as many people as possible.

Company = Human resources and passion.
We are a fusion of fresh power and mature power with long careers, as we are a company with a wide range of staff from teens to 60s.

Nothing else but human resources and passion supported the base of stable management since our founding.
We value mutual interactions between employees and aim to develop the "Harmony of Shimada", and maintain the company with vitality. We have many annual events such as New Year's party and Summer party. We also focus on training new employees and developing technical skills to support them to get various qualifications. We have many educational opportunities to fulfill employees’ ambitions and hopes, so that they could contribute to the society.

Our motto is the 3S, which is Specialty (more specialized), Sure (more accurate), and Service (better service). We have been engaged in deep drawing of metal through writing instrument manufacturing since our founding in 1954.
We are in the 21st century and moved out from the 20th century when we were founded. We will work on Step-Up (improvement of technology) and Succession (succession of technology), as the additional S of +1 (+ α). We will continue to take on the challenge of making these five ?S? more reliable, and that challenge will become the next ?S?
